My name is Leah and I am a senior midwifery student from McMaster University. Prior to pursuing midwifery, I completed three years of Kinesiology at McMaster University. Through my studies in Kinesiology, I found courses that introduced me to reproductive justice which sparked my passion towards the field of midwifery.

I grew up near the Kitchener-Waterloo area and completed many of my second- and third-year placements in the area. I am thrilled to be joining St. Jacobs Midwives and continuing my education in this community.

Outside of midwifery I love going to the gym, hiking and reading in my spare time.
